In Greene County magistrate court Ben Eugene Robbins of Fort Dodge paid a $100 fine with a $35 surcharge after pleading guilty to a charge of assault. A charge of harassment-third degree was dismissed.
Dale Arthur Fisher of West Des Moines paid a fine of $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge on a charge of trespass (violating self-exclusion from a casino).
Information is available since the return of an arrest warrant that Jeremy Ernest Andrews of Jefferson has been charged with trespass and theft-fifth degree.
Cases were initiated in magistrate court during the week ending Sept. 11 as follows: John Raymond Fortisi Jr of Madrid, possession of drug paraphernalia; Melissa Kay Argetsinger of Grimes, possession of drug paraphernalia; Edward Goff Sr of Jefferson, theft-fifth degree; Nicholas Anthony Balderas of Ames, theft-fifth degree, and in a separate case, disorderly conduct.
